The teenager who died Sunday when he was reportedly fatally stabbed in Corindi Beach on the north coast of NSW has been recognized as 16-year-old Trey Johnston Piggott.
The household has launched a GoFundMe asking for donations from the group to cowl funeral bills to assist them via their grief.
“Trey was a beautiful, smart, intelligent boy who had his whole life ahead of him and all we have now are memories,” his aunt Billee-jo wrote on the fundraising web page.
“Trey was well known in our community and well loved by so many.”
