A mom of two has been denied entry to a beachside bar and restaurant due to the tattoos she has on her again.

Katie Hally was planning an evening out on Saturday to have fun her good friend’s forty fifth birthday on the Burleigh Pavilion in Gold Coast.

But after getting into the venue, she was all of a sudden referred to as again to the doorway by safety who instructed her she was not allowed in on account of their tattoo coverage, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported.

Ms. Hally has Chinese letters tattooed on her higher again which interprets to ‘family, love and happiness’.

The mom claims the doorman instructed her, “We’re very sorry, but we can’t let you in because of your neck tattoos.” I’m going to name the supervisor to speak to you.”

She was then requested by the supervisor to go away and return as soon as she coated up.

Burleigh Pavilion’s tattoo coverage says friends with tattoos are allowed in until they’re “harassing, aggressive or offensive.”

‘The first one I got – luckily – almost thirteen years ago after I got divorced. The second, ‘family’, I did with my sister and the third I did final, ‘love’, hoping I’d discover love once more,’ Mrs Hally defined.

“I understand why the policy exists, but the manager could have used her discretion, she could have been more caring and judged people on a case-by-case basis, but they didn’t.”
