Top most cancers physician, 40, ‘shoots herself and her baby to death at their $1 million home in Westchester in gruesome murder-suicide’

A number one most cancers physician killed herself and her child in what police have decided was a murder-suicide, at her $1 million Westchester dwelling.

Dr. Krystal Cascetta was a hematology-oncology specialist at Mount Sinai in New York City.

Police say the incident occurred round 7am this morning within the city of Somers, with a preliminary investigation ruling that she had shot herself and her child.

A press release from the state police mentioned: “The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Somers is investigating a homicide/suicide in the city of Somers.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Krystal Cascetta entered her child’s room around 7:00 a.m. and shot her baby, then turned the gun on herself.

Dr Cascetta lived in the Granite Springs area of ​​Somers, New York State in a $1 million house with her husband Tim Talty.

Cascetta’s medical profile says she graduated from Albany Medical College and did her residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
