Dillian Whyte claims he’ll ‘prove his innocence’ after information his struggle with Anthony Joshua has been canceled as ‘The Body Snatcher’ returns ‘negative analytical findings’ in a VADA drug check

Dillian Whyte says he’ll show his ‘innocence’ after returning ‘adverse analytical findings’ in a pre-fight drug check performed by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) forward of his rematch with Anthony Joshua.

The struggle has been canceled and Mail Sport understands that Matchroom Boxing is now in search of a brand new opponent for Joshua for the primary occasion.

In a press release from Whyte, posted on his social media channels shortly after the information broke, ‘The Body Snatcher’ claimed he’s ‘completely innocent’ and is ‘shocked and devastated’ by the findings.

“I am shocked and devastated by a report from VADA containing negative findings concerning me,” the assertion learn.

“I only heard it this morning and am still responding to it. I have also just seen the fight being canceled without having had any chance to prove my innocence before the decision was made.

Anthony Joshua vs Whyte II has been canceled but Mail Sport understands Matchroom Boxing is looking for a new opponent for AJ

“I can confirm beyond any doubt that I have not taken the drug reported, in this camp or at any point in my life.

“I am completely innocent and ask for the time to prove this without anyone jumping to conclusions or getting a lawsuit by the media.

“I insisted on 24/7 VADA testing for this fight, as I have done voluntarily and at my own expense for all my fights for many, many years.

“This is not the first time that I have been reported to have an adverse finding for a substance I have not used, and just like last time, I will once again prove myself completely innocent.

“In the meantime, I can only express my great disappointment to boxing fans, who will undoubtedly miss this great event.”
